Clark's workouts focus on quick‚ explosive exercises such as medicine ball slams and banded dumbbell press‚ pull-ups and dips. Clark stated that box jumps are his favorite exercise. They provide a lot more explosive power than I need to use in transitioning to track‚ wrestling or other sports. To increase his speed and cardio‚ he also rides an assault bike. Clark said that compound movements such as bench press‚ shoulder presses‚ and rows helped him build and sustain his upper body strength. Clark believes in recovery just as much as he does training.
