The former Birmingham-based airline Flybe will resume flights on April 13 after the spring Covid-19 pandemic. The airline will operate up to 530 flights a week to 23 destinations‚ including the South West‚ Midlands‚ and North West. In March 2020‚ Flybe entered administration following the loss of 2‚400 jobs. The pandemic devastated the travel market‚ with the company losing most of its domestic UK routes outside of London. Thyme Opco‚ linked to US hedge fund Cyrus Capital‚ bought the company's assets and rebranded it Flybe Limited.
