Jeff Bezos' private spaceflight company has announced that Pete Davidson and five other famous faces will join its next mission to space. The flight‚ which is scheduled to launch on March 23 at 8:30 a.m. Central time‚ will be the fourth human flight and the 20th overall mission of the New Shepard program. Davidson's participation in the trip comes after the company has invited celebrities including Michael Strahan‚ Jim Kitchen‚ and George Nield to fly on the spaceship. Earlier this year‚ Bezos and Davidson reportedly had dinner with the space industry's leaders and endorsed the program. Davidson‚ whose first Saturday Night Live episode was filmed in July‚ is a frequent performer on the show. He has also starred in several films and has been involved with other charitable endeavors. Though he could not be reached for comment on Monday‚ a spokesperson for the company said he would be flying as an honorary guest. The actor is also in talks with the company for a role on its next commercial flight to space. In addition to Davidson‚ a spokesperson for Blue Origin confirmed that most of the crew members paid for their seats.

Mr. Davidson's flight will be complimentary. The company said it was unclear whether Davidson will be making a profit from the trip. Despite his involvement in the launch‚ Davidson has been a vocal advocate of the company‚ and has appeared in numerous movies.
